PDFlite is a simple application that acts as a PDF viewer and converter. It is designed to turn images and text files into PDF documents.
The program comes with an intuitive and user-friendly interface. Though rather dull and unimpressive, it offers a convenient solution to save documents as PDF files easily. There isn't much to say about the conversion process - you simply load the file you intend to convert, select PDFlite as your printer, apply some basic printing options (like page range, number of copies, layout, etc.), and the result is saved in the specified location. The saving path is, by default, identical to that of the source file, though it can be changed into a different location of your choice.
As a document viewer, this utility enables you to display the document in various ways. In this regard, you can choose to see the PDF file as one continuous page, two pages facing each other, as well as with a book-like layout. In addition, you can read the document in full screen mode or in a presentation style. Furthermore, the tool provides some common viewing options and features, such as page rotation, zoom in or out, a "search text" feature, and navigation through the pages of the file.
The application is very basic - there aren't any remarkable features to make it outstanding. Its main advantage is the ease of use and the lack of complex functions, which sometimes complicate the conversion process in vain.
